Andrew Connington
Trombone

Andrew Connington is Principal Trombone at English National Ballet and Trombonist with the Riot Ensemble. He also regularly performs as Principal Trombone with the London Chamber Orchestra and as a deputy with many of the UK’s orchestras.  Andrew studied at Manchester’s Chetham’s School of Music and at the Royal Academy of Music in London and has been fortunate to have been taught by many of the UK’s leading trombonists.  As a soloist, he performed in Orchestra Finalists as part of Birmingham Opera Company’s 2012 Cultural Olympics production of Stockhausen’s Mittwoch aus Licht.
