Welcome to our new Trustees!
We are delighted to welcome five new members to the Riot Ensemble Board of Trustees: Helen Palmer, David Taylor, Roisin Hughes, Louise Carles and Matthew Butt.
As Riot Ensemble grows, we are very grateful to have a Trustees who share our belief in the power of bold ideas, creative collaboration and new ways of connecting people with music. Our new Trustees bring experience across arts leadership, cultural development, technology, law, fundraising and music-making, strengthening the range of knowledge and perspectives within our organisation.
About Riot Ensemble
Riot Ensemble is an internationally renowned group dedicated to the creation, exploration and presentation of great contemporary works and new music yet to be discovered. Based in the UK, the ensemble comprises top European soloists who perform, curate, commission, and collaborate on a diverse array of projects including performances across the UK, international festival appearances, multi-year residencies and mentorships at conservatoires and universities, and a yearly Call for Scores. Their work has been shortlisted for RPS Awards in several categories and has been recognised by the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation’s prestigious Ensemble Prize in 2020.
