Call for Scores 2018

Our 2018 call for scores saw 291 entries from 44 countries. We are genuinely honoured to have received so much wonderful music. It was an exciting month of listening for us, and resulted in new commissions from Italian composer Caterina di Cecca and Austrian/Hungarian composer Judit Varga. Alongside these new works, in a concert that features Jonathan Harvey’s Song Offerings (back where it all began!), we also gave the World Premiere of Benjamin Graves’ new viola concerto Four Facades, commissioned for Stephen Upshaw with funds from the Carne Trust, Hinrichsen Foundation and RVW Trust.
