Date: Wednesday 11th November, 1pm Venue: Guy’s Chapel, Guy’s Hospital, London Bridge In our 9th concert with Breathe AHR – a charity dedicated to improving health and outcomes for patients, staff and communities – three Riot musicians perform a concert of music reflecting on war & peace.
In association with Breathe AHR, the Riot Ensemble presents a free 1:00pm lunchtime concert at Guys’ Hospital. The concert features Riot Ensemble’s soprano Celeste Cronje and accompanist Charis Hanning in an array of music circling around the ideas of Sleeping and Waking. Music includes Maconchy, Mozart, Berg and Alexina Louie.
In association with Breathe AHR, the Riot Ensemble presents a free 1:00pm lunchtime concert at St. Thomas’ Hospital. The concert features Riot Ensemble’s co-principal percussionist Claudia Maria Racovicean who will – in collaboration with her sister, violinist Ramona Racovicean – present a concert in celebration of John William’s Birthday.
A new series of free lunchtime concerts in collaboration with Breathe AHR sees The Riot Ensemble’s principal players accompanied by a live visual artist. The first of these – at 1:00pm at St. Thomas’ Hospital concerts sees Artistic Board members Brian O’Kane (cello) and Claudia Racovicean (piano) present works by Augusta Read Thomas and Thomas Adés alongside Brahms’ second cello sonata.
