Weβre thrilled to give our first performance as a Manchester-based ensemble this Saturday at Manchester Classical. While Riot has always been proudly international, weβve chosen Manchester as our new homeβdrawn by its vibrant, world-class classical music scene. About Riot Ensemble
Riot Ensemble is an internationally renowned group dedicated to the creation, exploration and presentation of great contemporary works and new music yet to be discovered. Based in the UK, the ensemble comprises top European soloists who perform, curate, commission, and collaborate on a diverse array of projects including performances across the UK, international festival appearances, multi-year residencies and mentorships at conservatoires and universities, and a yearly Call for Scores. Their work has been shortlisted for RPS Awards in several categories and has been recognised by the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundationβs prestigious Ensemble Prize in 2020.
